Development of 380/230 kV Amiral Bulk Supply Point (BSP) in the Jubail area.
Description:
This project aims to develop the generation interconnection and power supply plan for the Amiral project, located on Saudi Arabia’s east coast in Jubail. The new substation is crucial for the development of the generation interconnection and power supply plan for the project. Linxon’s contract encompasses design, engineering, material procurement, civil construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a 380 kV GIS substation. Linxon scope of supply includes a 380 kV GIS switchgear from Hitachi Energy Saudi Arabia, a 230 kV HGIS & 750 MVA transformer, and overhead transmission lines. The Amiral BSP substation will be supervised by SEC, with a completion timeline of 27 months.
