Project Summary
Building on the outcomes of the APEC PPSTI-funded project PPSTI 01 2017A, this project will address digital transformation challenges in innovation cities across the APEC region. It will facilitate policy exchanges and case study discussions through collaboration with innovative enterprises and academic institutions. The project will organize two events in China and Korea: a workshop on innovation-city policy dialogue, inviting delegations from APEC innovation cities, and a workshop on sharing best practices. These events will foster industry-academia dialogues on technology commercialization, innovation cluster development, and smart and digital technology integration.
To maximize impact, the project will collaborate with the Korean Innovation Center China and Seoul Smartlife Week. By fostering voluntary knowledge exchange, it aims to bridge digital divides and support sustainable urban innovation in developing APEC economies, ultimately contributing to inclusive economic growth and regional cooperation.
