Scope:
The Berger Paints manufacturing company is contemplating to invest around Rs 400 crore to manufacture construction chemicals and putty plant at Panagarh Industrial Park near the industrial township of Durgapur in West Bengal. Berger Paints has received in-principle nod for 22 acre of land from the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation. This will be Berger Paints third unit in West Bengal, with the other two located at Shibpur in Howrah district and Rishra in Hooghly district.
On August 2023, Berger Paints charts expansion plans
The proposed plant at Panagarh, West Bengal is expected to be commissioned in 2025-26 and would involve an investment of around Rs 400 crore.
