Construction of 1 GW Bowdun offshore wind farm, in the E3 leasing zone.
Description:
TWP, a partnership between DEME Concessions, French renewable power producer Qair and Belgian renewable energy company Aspiravi, the project will be called Bowdun. The Bowdun offshore wind farm, in the E3 leasing zone, is located off the coast of Stonehaven, 44 km (27 miles) from the landmark of Bowdun Head. It will consist of between 50 and 60 turbines of 18 MW-25 MW. Construction is expected to start in 2029 and the wind park to be completed in 2033.
