Scope : To Set up new Centre of Excellence for Horticulture Farming in Banaskantha district, Gujarat
The Government of Gujarat has decided to set up the Centre of Excellence for horticulture farming in Banaskantha district. The State government has allocated Rs. 10 crore sum for next three years for this. Rs. 10 crore allocation has made for proposed Centre.
This Centre will feature displays of vegetables, fruits, and spice crops, along with the latest nurseries, training centers, micro-irrigation methods, water harvesting structures, integrated packing houses, storage arrangements, post-harvest management, innovations, plastic mulching, etc.
