Corpus-Argentina is a 3,500MW hydro power project. It is planned on Parana river/basin in Misiones, Argentina.
It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2029 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2033
Description
The project is currently owned by Government Of Argentina.
The project is expected to generate 24,000 GWh of electricity.
The hydro power project consists of 20 units of kaplan turbines.
The project has 20 electric generators that will be installed at the project site.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2029. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2033.
