Cottbus New Tender

The project includes the construction of two maintenance halls for electric multiple units for the heavy maintenance stage of high-speed traffic. Furthermore, the conversion of the current compact hall for the revision of hybrid locomotives is planned.

Around 1,200 jobs will be created, including around 100 apprenticeships – all of them high-quality industrial jobs.

The overall project 'New Plant Cottbus' includes the following sub-projects (TP):
the construction and equipment of a maintenance hangar for full-length electric multiple units for the heavy maintenance stage
the conversion of the existing compact hall
the construction of a further maintenance hall
