Scope :
Cukurca is a 304.55MW hydro power project. It is planned on Zap river/basin in Hakkari, Turkey. The project construction is likely to commence in 2024 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2027.
Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by DC Hidro Enerji Uretim Anonim Sirketi.
The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 1 in number. The penstock length will be 160m. The project is expected to generate 870 GWh of electricity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
