Under the global pressures of energy and climate change, achieving "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality" has become a shared goal. The messages from the 2021 two sessions indicate that the next five years will see a significant focus on energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction. Central air conditioning systems, which account for 50%-60% of energy consumption in public buildings, have emerged as a key factor in achieving these goals. The HVAC sector, being a significant energy consumer, needs to adapt by using advanced R&D, installation, and control technologies to achieve efficient and eco-friendly solutions.
To actualize the goals of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality," Zhejiang Province has issued documents such as the "Implementation Opinions on Supporting Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality" and the "Implementation Opinions on Completely Implementing the New Development Concept and Promoting Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality." These documentsemphasize the orderly transition to a green and low-carbon economy. In response, various areas in Zhejiang Province have embarked on innovative pilot projects to explore low-carbon and zero-carbon initiatives in diverse fields. This project aligns with Zhejiang Province's commitment to dual carbon construction and sustainability.
