Distribution Extension Improvement Tender

Description: This program provides for the extension and improvement of the electric distribution system including the work order, asset management, and geographic information system (GIS) mapping tools required to track distribution assets from installation to end of life. This annual program also provides for the acquisition of distribution lines within the service area of the City of Lethbridge as the city develops into outlying areas currently serviced by FortisAlberta. Currently there are 900 km of 13.8 kV primary lines, 4,500 transformers, and 40,000 customer delivery points.
