Dorado Airport Expansion Tender

Scope Colombian airport and highway operator Odinsa presented its plans to further expand Bogots El Dorado airport. Investment will go towards to the El Dorado expansion with 10bn pesos US3.2bn. Some of the works in this project include building a new runway at the airport and a new passenger terminal. It also revives the proposal of a new airport for the city which would be also be operated by Odinsa. Proposal to be approved in the next two years in order to start works by 2022 or 2023 while the first main works would be finished by 2027. Odinsa claims that with both projects the Bogot airport system would have four runways a combined terminal surface of 400000m2 and capacity for 80mn passengers per year.
