This grant funds a feasibility study and pilot project for Applus+ PNG Ltd. to determine the technical feasibility of establishing drone-facilitated healthcare delivery services for underserved regions of Papua New Guinea. The feasibility study would include piloting drone delivery solutions of U.S. firm Zipline International Inc. in country. The drone delivery service would facilitate improved access to healthcare services by helping ensure the availability of medical supplies across the country, including providing last-mile delivery services to remote areas.
