Project Summary
In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, women in the APEC region, especially those facing barriers in accessing digital tools, are limited in their participation in the digital economy. This project seeks to address digital divides by enhancing womenβs digital literacy and skills through an in-person two-day workshop followed by two half-day online training sessions in 2026, and will generate a final output of an initiative regarding digital transformation capacity building for women.
This project will cover essential learning in digital tools, including AI, e-commerce, online safety, and sustainable technology applications. By integrating these skills with green technology applications, the initiative not only supports women's entry into the digital economy by providing women for employment and entrepreneurship, but also aligns with APEC's goals for sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
