Scope : To Set up an IT and IT-enabled Service (ITeS) Technology Park in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Larsen & Toubro Limited and the Gujarat state government have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up an IT and IT-enabled service (ITeS) technology park in Vadodara. The MoU was signed in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and officers of L&T on, August 1.
The Gujarat government will be a landmark in further developing the state’s IT ecosystem. L&T will develop this IT park in the next five years with an investment of Rs 7,000 crores.
The IT park will provide jobs for 2,000 engineers and other positions in just a single year. L&T is also planning to provide jobs to 10,000 people in direct and indirect employment in the next five years.
Under the leadership of Gujarat CM, the state government’s vision is to provide excellent IT infrastructure and create 1,00,000 IT jobs.
This policy has created an unprecedented attraction in the IT industry and many investors are eager to partner with the Gujarat government.
L&T will take a new step with the construction of IT/ITeS Technology Park in Vadodara.
