Description:
Amneal Pharmaceuticals, a U.S. based company, plans to invest around ?1,680 crore in India over the next four to five years to establish two new manufacturing facilities in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. These will include a peptide synthesis plant and an advanced sterile fill-finish manufacturing unit. As part of the expansion, Amneal’s total investment in India will range between $150 million and $200 million to construct the two greenfield facilities. The company aims to lead the development and large-scale manufacturing of innovative branded medicines in India, catering both to local and global markets.
