To Establish Smart Campus in Sultan Haitham City.
Description:
The university has secured a plot in the city, allocated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, to establish a cutting-edge smart campus dedicated to Advanced Technology and Engineering programs. The master plan outlines a visionary approach to academic instruction, administration, and campus life, aligning with top-tier models of higher education that integrate advanced technology. The campus, expected to be operational by 2027, will accommodate 3,000 students and 150 staff members. Huawei, a leading global technology company, has been selected as the university’s technology partner for this ambitious project. In line with Oman vision 2040 and the university's commitment to sustainable growth, the new campus is designed to meet Net-Zero targets. This will be the sixth campus of the National University.
