Scope : To Set up Government Nursing College in Latur, Maharashtra
Maharashtra Cabinet held a meeting in which it was decided to set up government nursing college with a student intake of 100 students. This nursing college will be affiliated with Government Medical College in Latur.
The initiative is being taken considering the prevalence of infectious diseases in the state and the country.
The estimated cost for the construction, machinery, furniture, manpower, and daily recurring expenses for nursing college is INR 32.9 crore.
