Source3 Energy X Inc (Source3X) has inked a pact for the development of a complex for large-scale production of clean hydrogen from renewables and other energy sources at the Skeena Industrial Development Park (SIDP) in British Columbia, Canada.
Source3X and SIDP have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the Skeena Clean Hydrogen Hub in the city of Terrace.
The complex is expected to produce 50,000 tonnes per annum of carbon-free hydrogen or its downstream products such as clean ammonia, e-fuels or sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) annually. It is planned to serve both local and global demand for clean fuels.
