Scope :
Kanona Solar PV Park is a 100MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Central, Zambia. It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2025 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2026.
Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy and Zambia Electricity Supply. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
Kanona Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 204 hectares.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
