Adani Power Limited proposes the expansion of the Kawai Thermal Power Plant under Phase-II.
The plan involves adding a 3200 MW (4×800 MW) Ultra Super Critical Thermal Power Plant to the existing 1320 MW (2×660 MW) capacity. The project site is located at Village Kawai, Tehsil Atru, District Baran, Rajasthan.
BHEL will be responsible for supplying critical equipment such as boilers, turbines, and generators. Additionally, BHEL will oversee the erection and commissioning of the project, which are scheduled for completion within a timeframe of 49 to 55 months.
