π Tender Overview
Scope of Work:
Construction of 50 MW Kellystown Wind Farm.
Description:
The Kellystown Wind Farm will be installed in proximity to the town of Drogheda and will be capable of generating electricity for more than 35,000 homes, once in operation. Currently, the team responsible for the new project is gathering wind data and mapping environmental constraints on the selected site. This data, including the results of detailed environmental studies and community feedback, will be used to create a final wind turbine layout. The plan is to use up to eight turbine generators. The Irish firm intends to lodge a planning application and an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report in late 2023 and hopes that the wind park could be up and running by 2027.
