Scope : To Construct Landfill in Bukhar-Zhyrau District, Karaganda region, Kazakhstan
New landfill is scheduled to be constructed in the Karaganda region over the coming years.
Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the Karaganda region, Bakhtiyar Sanbayev, provided an overview of the Taza (Clean) Qazaqstan campaign and its interim results at a press briefing on the Regional Communications Service platform.
It is anticipated that additional landfill with sorting lines will be constructed in the district of Bukhar-Zhyrau over the next three years. The site will be developed once the design and construction plans have been finalized.
