Latvian patient laboratory data exchange.
Project proposes to develop and deploy a new service for cross-border exchange of Medical Laboratory Results. The service will provide Latvian patients with access to their laboratory data while abroad and foreign patients - access to their laboratory data while visiting Latvia. Laboratory Results exchange service will be developed based on corresponding national eHealth service.
In Latvia, eHDSI services Patient Summary and ePrescriptions have already been developed and are currently being deployed. The new service will extend MyHealth@EU infrastructure of the secure cross-border exchange of patients Electronic Health Records.
