Scope : To Set up Lemon Tree Hotel in Zirakpur, Punjab
Lemon Tree Hotels (LTHL) has signed for a new Lemon Tree Hotel in Zirakpur, Punjab under a licence agreement. The property is expected to be operational by Q2/FY27. The property will feature 80 well-appointed rooms, and will include banquets, a conference room, a restaurant, a fitness centre and other public areas to serve various requirements of its guests.
Further, the presence of schools, hospitals, shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment options is expected to elevate the positioning of the hotel. Moreover, robust infrastructure and facilities are being developed to cater to the needs of the growing population, especially as Zirakpur falls within the Chandigarh Tricity region, comprising Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula.
The property boasts of good connectivity, as Zirakpur is a thriving business hub which leverages its strategic location, with Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh about 13 km away from the town, while being just 12.4 km away from Chandigarh by road and 234 km from Delhi.
Accessibility is eased by both public and private transport via all major cities in India.
The property, which is an addition to the three operational and two upcoming properties in the state, will be managed by Carnation Hotels, the management arm of the company.
