Scope : To Set up LNG Regasification Terminal, Rejuvenation and Debottlenecking Project in Gujarat
Shell Energy India will invest in Gujarat to set up a LNG regasification terminal which would create jobs. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed between the Gujarat government and Shell Energy India in Gandhinagar.
Rs 500 crore will be directed towards the LNG regasification terminal, rejuvenation and debottlenecking project. This project would lead to work opportunities for 375 people, and is expected to commence commercial production by 2027.
