Scope : To Construct a 12km Long Ganga Path on the lines of Gomti riverfront in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
To facilitate millions of pilgrims and devotees arriving for Maha Kumbh 2025 and to check heavy traffic along river Ganga during the occasion, the state government is all set to construct a 12km long Ganga Path. The construction work has begun between Rasoolabad ghat to Nagasaki, Surdas to Chhatnag and Curzon bridge to Mahavirpuri.
The irrigation department is entrusted to construct the Rs 95 crore Ganga Path on the lines of Gomti riverfront in Lucknow.
