Scope :
Mamba Northeast is a conventional gas development located in ultra-deepwater in Mozambique and is operated by Mozambique Rovuma Venture. Discovered in 2012, Mamba Northeast lies in block Area 4, with water depth of around 6,540 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2028. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2023.
Field participation details
The field is owned by Galp Energia SGPS, Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos EP, Korea Gas, Exxon Mobil, Eni and China National Petroleum.
