Scope :
Middle Yeywa is a 735MW hydro power project. It is planned on Lower Myitnge river/basin in Shan, Myanmar.
The project construction is likely to commence in 2029 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2033.
Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Aboitiz Power and SN Power. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
The net head of the project will be 135m. The project is expected to generate 3,253 GWh of electricity.
The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 183.75MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2029. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2033.
