The general railway communication line Chihuahua - Pacifico has a total length of 1512.4 km out of which 941.3 km are part of the Q Ojinaga-Topolobampo line in the states of Chihuahua and Sinaloa and the remaining 571.1 km correspond to line QA La Junta-Ciudad Jurez in the state of Chihuahua and include the assets that are part of the railways and their respective rights of way as well as the buildings and facilities required for the provision of auxiliary services such as passenger and freight terminals maintenance workshops and supply centers. The company Ferrocarril Pacfico - Norte S.A. of C.V. received the concession for the general railway communication line which corresponds to the short route Ojinaga-Topolobampo and the provision of freight and passenger service.
