Mombutota CX is a run-of-river project. The net head of the project will be 65.4m. The project is expected to generate 1,449 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $482.91m.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
