Scope :
Mpata Gorge is a 1,200MW hydro power project. It is planned on Zambezi river/basin in Zambia. It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2029 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2033. The hydro power project consists of 8 turbines, each with 150MW nameplate capacity.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2029. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2033.
