DESCRIPTION
Water supply system improvements needed to adequately receive the additional water quantities supplied by the Aqaba-Amman Water Desalination and Conveyance Project.
OBJECTIVES
Investment loan to finance water supply system improvements needed to adequately receive the additional water quantities supplied by the Aqaba-Amman water desalination and conveyance project. The operation will support strategic transmission and storage infrastructure required to distribute the additional water volumes through Jordan's national water system, contributing to improved water security and climate resilience.
