Scope : To Set up Nebulisers, Needles Factory in the Medical Device Park in India
The Chennai-based Fortune India 500 company, Murugappa Group, was allotted 11 acres of land to set up a factory in the Medical Device Park. The unit will manufacture fluid analyzers, nebulizer kits, blood tubing, AV fistulas, dialysis machines, anesthesia kits, anesthesia needles, and anesthesia masks.
TI Medical, a joint venture between Murugappa Group’s engineering firm Tube Investments of India (TII) and Premji Invest, applied to invest under the super mega investment category.
Tube Investments holds a 67% stake in the venture, while Premji holds 33%. The company plans to invest Rs 215 crore in project.
