Ntereso is a 64MW hydro power project. It is planned on Black Volta river/basin in Northern, Ghana.
It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2026 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2028.
Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Volta River Authority.
The project is expected to generate 257 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $118.403m.
The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
