Scope :
The Ostroleka Combined Cycle Power Plant is 745MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Masovia, Poland.
It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2024 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2025.
Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Orlen and Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel will be procured from Klaipeda LNG FSRU.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
Contractors involved
GE Power is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.
