Project Description
The project involves the establishment of a debt fund, Patria Credito Estruturado Desenvolvimento Amazônia (the Fund ) along with Patria Investimentos Ltda. ( Patria or the Fund Manager ) as Fund Manager, to mobilize funding for investments in the Brazilian Legal Amazon region. The Fund will ensure that the mobilized resources achieve the desired impact objectives of addressing the financing gap in the regions. Funds will be deployed for mid-to-large corporates as well as individuals and MSMES (micro, small, and medium enterprises) through supporting NBFIs (non-bank financial institution) whose use of proceeds directly supports initiatives within the area. The Fund will be incorporated as a Fundo de Investimentos em Direitos Creditórios with an initial fund life of 9 years
