Project Summary
In the context of profound global economic and social transformations, entrepreneurship has become a vital driver for economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development. However, entrepreneurs face multiple challenges at different stages, including policy, funding, technology, and market access. It is expected to improve the capacity building of entrepreneurs which can inspire entrepreneurial willingness, overcome barriers to start up, accelerate the grow-up, and ultimately achieve a multiplier effect of job creation.
This project delivers a 2-day workshop for APEC economies to discuss the challenges and exchange the practices in capacity building of entrepreneurs in four aspects: basic entrepreneurship education, core business skills, green and digital transformation capacity, and inclusive empowerment. The project gathers best practices, addresses challenges, and produces some policy recommendation for all APEC economies, thereby achieving the goal of promoting high-quality and full employment and supporting the APEC regionβs broader agenda of innovative development, economic reform, and inclusive growth.
