Reflecting Economics Climate Tender

Objectives
The REACCT project is targeted HEIs to support the education on economics of climate change, as climate neutrality is the cornerstone of the European Green Deal Policy. Facing the evidence on insufficient presence of climate change related topics in the study programmes, the main goal of this project is to make learning on climate change a priority in higher education in the field of business and economics. By this we want to enhance civic engagement in the implementation of EC Climate Action

Activities
The REACCT project merges innovative activities in three packs:
Screening the priorities to recognise the educational needs in economics of climate change
EduBoxes Pack to prepare educational content in this topic
Curricula: to design an innovative and flexible framework for educating on climate change at HEIs level
The project consortium will collaborate at international level in these activities and to ensure availability of high-quality dissemination of the outputs, to reach wide audience.

Impact
The major outcome of the project will be the educational content that will equip academic teachers with resources needed to deliver expert-wise skills desired from business and economics alumni. This will be accompanied by the instructional materials on how to introduce this content to the HEIs study programmes.The project will also design the inclusive and transversal strategies in educating on economics of climate change and provide a showcase collection from their implementation.
