Scope of Work:
Construction of South Sabah Al Ahmad Residential City.
Description:
Scope of work consists of a commercial and residential development located in Kuwait. The project will include 25000 residential units. It will complete by 2029. The scope of the first contract includes the construction, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure, main roads, and secondary power stations in Sabah Al-Ahmad City. Located 50km south of Kuwait City, the project covers an area of approximately 3500ha and was tendered by Kuwait's government with contribution from the private sector.? The second contract covers the construction of 40 residential buildings with 720 apartments.
Events:
January 2023- Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) announced the opening of the bid envelopes submitted for the tender for the construction, completion and maintenance of main road works, main infrastructure service networks and rainwater tanks in the South Sabah Al-Ahmad Project.
July 2020-The Kuwait Company for Process Plant Construction & Contracting (KCPC) has secured a contract by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare for a value of 4.39 million Kuwaiti dinars ($14.27 million). The contract will be for works at Sabah Al-Ahmad City (Sector B) for a period of 430 days.
May 2019-The GCC nation finished around 10% of South Sabah Al Ahmad residential city.
November 2018- Kuwait's Public Authority for Housing Welfare has awarded two construction and infrastructure contracts worth $210m (KWD60m) for work at Sabah Al-Ahmad City.
