Steel Bridge Town Tender

Scope : To Set up Steel Bridge across Town Head Canal on Mir Meher Ali Lane in Tangra in Kolkata, West Bengal

The urban development and municipal affairs department has approved funding for the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) to replacing the wooden bridge across Town Head canal on Mir Meher Ali Lane in Tangra.

Rs 4.3 crore has been allocated for a 22-m long and 5.5-m wide steel bridge over Town Head canal. A new bridge was proposed as the old wooden bridge was damaged. Vehicles will be able to use the new bridge, which will also boost connectivity in the area.

KMDA will soon initiate the process to engage agency to set up the bridge.
