Project Summary
Building on previous work in the Economic Committee to examine structure reforms related to improving access to Assistive Technology (AT), this project seeks to better understand different financing and procurement models that can support greater access to assistive products and services in APEC economies.
The project will deliver a policy dialogue and subsequent research/policy report to identify and outline a range of financing and procurement models in use, particularly in APEC economies, identifying transferable good practice; and set out recommendations for structural reforms on financing and procurement of AT goods and services that increase efficiencies and improve population access.
