Description:UNDP has been supporting the Ministry of Justice since 2003 in projects aimed at modernizing the sector but also supporting prison policy focused on the care of prisoners. Through this project, UNDP and the General Directorate of Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR) will continue to provide care to the inmate focused on social reintegration. To achieve this, the project will support the prison administration and partner associations in establishing the necessary conditions for social reintegration in paying particular attention to radicalized people and women. The overall approach consists of unifying the techniques for treating the prison population based on the prioritization of social reintegration within the structures of the DGAPR and with the intervention of all parties concerned (civil society and national state institutions). and sharing of experiences at international level.
