Tashkent International Airport Tender

Scope Tashkent Vostochny Airport is an airfield located in the capital city of Tashkent Uzbekistan. In accordance with a presidential order the airport will will be repurposed for passengers and business representatives a cargo terminal two 4000m runways and ICAO CAT III landing systems. The airport will be able to receive all types of aircraft.Uzbekistan is planning to relocate the airports current location to a new site by 2030. Uzbek authorities are planning to relocate Tashkent International Airport by 25 kilometers to move it further away from the center of the capital city. It is planned to move the airport nine kilometers southward from the capital borders and it could be a territory near Nurafshon city. This step is expected to improve the environmental situation in the capital and ensure better safety. As for the current territory of the airport which is located 5-6 km from the city center it is planned to preserve it for partial use in the future. It is expected that with the launch of the new airport on the site of the Tashkent-East airfield its total capacity will exceed 10 million passengers per year. This will be enough for the next few years but afterwards it is planned to build a new modern airport with an annual capacity of 50 million passengersTashkent the capital city of Uzbekistan will receive a second international airport. The decree to that effect was signed by the countrys president. The airport will be built on the premises of Taskent-Vostochny airfield which currently serves military cargo and experimantal aviation. Plans to expand the existing international airport Tashkent Islam Karimov have been abandoned over public protests. The initiative to build a second airport was proposed by the national carrier Uzbekistan Airways whom Mirziyoyev has appointed as the project manager. The project has been approved by Uzbekistans state committee for architecture and construction and by the administration of Tashkent Region.
