Scope : To Set up 1,000-acre Navya Ayodhya Township in Faizabad, Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh
The Uttar Pradesh government has planned a 1,000-acre township in Ayodhya. The 'New Ayodhya City', for which the state government has already secured land will be India's first Vastu-based township and will involve a blend of contemporary and traditional architectural elements.
The New Ayodhya City will be developed as river-centric with a sustainability focus. A planned township would bring in huge investment and developers are keen on acquiring land for commercial and residential development as it will attract tourists in the region.
Moreover, the government, committed to assisting developers in acquiring land has initiated registrations for the state guest house, and subsequently, the commercial development plots will be put up for auction. The administration has assured in regards to offering facilitation to investors under the present policies of subsidies and incentives.
