Scope : To Construct Two G+6 Buildings on A N College Campus in Bihar
City-based A N College, which is under Patliputra University, submitted a proposal to additional chief secretary of education department, K K Pathak, on Wednesday, seeking permission to construct two more state-of-the-art buildings on its campus.
According to college principal Prof Pravin Kumar, Pathak has welcomed the move and asked his department to prepare an estimate and design of the proposed buildings.
The college has proposed to build two G+6 buildings by demolishing the old dilapidated structures of Satyendra Bhawan, arts block, a defunct hostel and the common room, the tentative cost is about Rs 25 crore.
The college is inclined to build separate blocks for biology and biotechnology departments, for which a proposed plan with its design and structure of the L-shape buildings has been submitted, the built up area of these two buildings would be 7 lakh square feet each.
