The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, virtually laid the foundation stone of new project in Tripura. The project is West Bypass of Agartala City:
This is a road project that will provide an alternative route to bypass the congested city traffic of Agartala. It will also connect the city with the airport and the railway station. It has been sanctioned at a cost of Rs 2026 crore.
