World Class School Tender

Scope:
• Establishment of a state-of-the-art campus: a training campus with modern facilities and equipment, student accommodation, and a 5-star premium hotel within the premises for experiential and practical learning.
• Curriculum Development: to develop a curriculum that meets international standards and benchmarks of hospitality and tourism education.

The proposed project of developing a world-class school of hospitality seeks to serve the dual objectives of catering to the capacity development needs of the country’s tourism industry as well as diversify the existing tourism portfolio by means of education tourism.

The Government plans to earmark a separate island for the school of hospitality with flexibility to bundle the project with a hotel property enhancing overall viability.

Developmental Model:
• Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model: the Government seeks a partnership with a globally reputed hospitality school with an excellent track record for provision of hospitality training.
Contractor Financed Development: The Government is open to explore contractor financed options for the development component.
